I believe a lot of beginner internet marketers have this questions on their mind. I myself faced this question and had a hard time to deal with it.For adsense publishers, most will have problems in writing content and getting traffic. I spend almost two hours for each articles I wrote. As most of you have noticed, I am not a native English speaker. I need to check my dictionary to come up with the right word. Then, while you keep writing, if you dont get any significant number of visitors on your site, at one time, you will definitely getting tired and thinking of quitting. How many of you get this problems ? I bet most of you thought of quitting because of this problem.
For affiliate marketers using adwords, most of my friends getting scared after losing a hundred or more without any real success. For adwords, you need to have patience and keep learning. Check other forum and related blogs, but not too many readings. Remember to keep focus and take action! Don’t spend half a day just to keep other people’s post without doing anything significant.

I agree with what he wrote, but I would like to add that having a group of people with the same interest and goals to share knowledge and keep motivating each other is a very important aspect in saving time and succeeding in Internet Marketing.

Internet marketing can be learned in 1 hour but we have to spend our whole lifetime to expertise it.
I agree, Alan.
You get pumped up when you hear somebody is earning $4000/month or even $100,000/month. I personally witnessed Stephen Pierce earn more than $100,000 in just 4 days at World Internet Seminar in Singapore, but most of internet marketers felt discouraged and think to quit before any meaningful results.
Get a plan, be patience, determination and TAKE ACTION Guys !!

I find a lot of my students giving up just when their website is about to take off.
What a lot of students of my internet marketing course do not realize is that it takes time and persistence. The Web is HUGE and can take anywhere from 3 - 6 months of work before you see any results.
There are some “blackhat” techniques out there that will speed things up, but you will be very disappointed when you get delisted or worse - banned 3 months later.
Best thing to do is to set aside some time everyday and work at your business religiously. This Is a business - you do have to work at it. If you work at it as a hobby - you get a hobby income.

Nice Post! I have to give you credit. Taking 2 hours to write just one article shows your determination. And that’s what it takes to be successful in this or any other business. It’s work, and if you want a full time income, you have to work it full time (at least in the beginning).
